Step Bros Pty Ltd is equipped to handle any size and type of timber stair from a feature geometrical to a small or large external stair, we even do stairs that incorporate steel, stainless steel and glass

From one-off projects to large volume builders we can cater for any sized project. We specialise in large and small body corporate jobs through to architectural designed stair such as the one we did in the refurbished Young & Jackson Hotel in Melbourne.

The right materials for the job.

The range of timber types we use is vast. We build with all types of exotic timbers, such as Spotted Gum, Blackbutt and Jarrah, or can use any type of engineered flooring to ensure your stairs match your interior perfectly. If carpeting your stair we offer either an M.D.F. or a merch pine finish to keep your costs down. We also have a large range of clear Pine and select grade Vic. Ash in stock at all times.


The balustrade can be one of the most important choices someone will make when building as it is often the first thing someone will see when they enter your home. For this reason we offer several different styles including timber (turned or square), stainless steel, wire rigging, wrought iron and glass which come in many different styles and colours. Some of which can be seen in the brochures on this website and even more in our showroom.

Professionally installed to your needs.

Our professional installation team can handle your stair installation with ease. Alternatively, we can supply the stair ready for self-installation, or just the components for you to manufacture your own.
